I want to do sound and add later with the use of adobe premiere. Once I get the sound to the computer, I'm fine. The question is, How do I get the sound to the computer? Should I use a minidisc recorder? Budget is $100 to $200. Which specific minidisc are you using for Super 8 sound recording? Are there other sound methods that can be downloaded easily other than minidisc? I have firewire and USB? I'm not interested in a DAT ($800 not in my budget). Looking to record sound like birds singing, car engine starting, train whistle, water and rain, wind, siren, as well as voice overs (not dialogue with lip-syncing right now, although I may in the future).
